Since 2022, I have had the honour of representing Saltair, Thetis Island, Penelakut Island and Ruxton Island at the Cowichan Valley Regional District Board table.

“I promised to show up, listen carefully, ask difficult questions and explain where I stand.”

Over the past four years, we have advanced major investments in water security, parks, docks and community infrastructure while pushing for fiscal discipline, better development services and more accountable decision-making.

There is more work to do. I am seeking re-election to finish critical infrastructure projects, rebuild trust in local government, expand responsible housing choices and ensure every Area G community receives strong, fair representation.

My Approach

I value integrity, respect, inclusion, and collaboration. These guiding principles are the foundation for my family, business, and community successes. I bring experience, passion, and focus to this leadership challenge. As your director, I engage in respectful dialogue while empathizing with our tireless community leaders and empowering families to build the life they want to live.

Why I Ran For Area G Director

I am a husband, father of two, and a successful business owner with 20+ employees. I have lived in Area G for most of my life, first on Thetis Island as a child and now in Saltair on South Oyster School Road. Area G is home to my parents and my young family.

I asked my 10-year-old son, “what do you like about living here?” He replied, “the beaches, living close to Nana, and playing at the park with my best friend.” We have so much to be grateful for and I feel a deep sense of duty to give back.

I will work tirelessly to obtain federal and provincial government grant opportunities to enrich our community
