Do you have questions or suggestions about the CVRD Budget? Join me, fellow Directors and Staff tonight for an in-person open house event at the Saltair Community Center. This is your chance to voice your concerns and contribute to the budget discussion.
Tonight’s open house is a community event that welcomes everyone from Area G, Area H, and the Town of Ladysmith.
Doors open today, Thursday, January 16th, at 4:00 PM, and we will be at Saltair Community Centre until 7:00 PM.
The 2025 Draft Annual Budget, prepared by Regional District staff, is based on direction received by the Regional District Board. It includes allocations for various community projects and services. During November 2024, individual Committee and Commission meetings took place, where the budgets were debated. However, making amendments based on community feedback is not too late.
